A lady shuffled towards the chairs and sat down and we went over to her. She had an infection in her chest and had had it for a month. Every time she breathed in it really hurt. We prayed for her and after two or three minutes we said how do you feel and she said I still have the pain and so we said do you mind if we pray for her again and reaffirm that God loves her. We prayed again, it was just very simple prayers-and then said how do you feel now and it was like-”It’s gone! The pain is gone!” and we said are you sure? She breathed in really deeply and there was no pain.
A lady came for prayer with curvature of the spine in both the lower back and between the shoulder blades, three vertebrae were fused in the lumber region, and her hips were tipped at an angle so that my left hip was higher, even though a surgeon has said my legs are the same length. Her movements were therefore restricted. After prayed her hips seemed to relax and the left leg moved down in line with the right leg. She reported back that she spent a long afternoon walking round Winchester with no pain, no tiredness or aching in her back, and after a lively evening service she had an incredibly comfortable two hour ride home to the North Cotswolds. Normally, car journeys are uncomfortable. Each day she realizes that there is something she can do that she couldn’t do before – Praise God!
